I'm a horrible person.yes, I know. Let me tell you the tail of idiocy that happened mere hours ago.
so my friend "b" set up a house party for my 21st..after we had already gone out.after I repeatedly said no thanks, after I got guilted into saying yes...and that was going to be tonight...after my family party that was an hour away...which was after work.I would have needed to leave my family party early..like 40 min after i got there to go to akron, which is a good 2 hours away from my family party.um, i already said i didn't want another party.multiple times.
this is where i dropped the lie ball.
I texted, who i thought was my sister, telling her that if B where to ask, my great grandma was ill and i didn't feel like driving all the way to akron.....and guess who i sent it to. yup. B. i blame the 8 hour work day and the 40+ hour work week for that one.
But, i kept going with it.."no, she really is sick." "yes, I don't want to drive another 2 hours later, i need to be with family" blah blah blah...
HOLY F_BALLS...maybe i'm a better liar than i thought.
just got a text from her...after she's cooled off of course...and she bought it...
ok.i still feel bad, but..not really.
she did that to me in high school all of the time.
i'm going to post more later when i have my head cleared of todays events
It's okay, sometimes you do need to lie to save face. Clearly it would have hurt her feelings and she wasn't listening to you when you said no. Really, it was kind of her fault...
